Tom Kendall

Tom Kendall joined Encore in 2002 as VFX Producer. He was promoted to VP, VFX in 2010 to oversee the entire visual effects operation for both Encore and its sister company, Level 3 Post. In this role, Kendall interfaces between clients and his team of artists, producers and technicians to deliver the massive number of VFX shots required week in and week out for shows including House, MD, NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Castle, and many others.

 

In addition to the hundreds of episodes of television Kendall has worked on, he has also produced VFX projects for feature films, including multiple Oscar-winner The Hurt Locker, commercials and music videos, including the Grammy-winning Johnny Cash video God's Gonna Cut You Down.

 

Kendall previously owned The Tamarind Theatre in Hollywood, where he produced more than 500 plays. He received fine arts degrees from The University of Evansville, Indiana and the FSU/Asolo Conservatory in Sarasota, Florida. In between, he attended the Juilliard School in New York City. He is a member of the Visual Effects Society and the Screen Actors Guild.
