A multi-talented VFX artist, Mark Intravartolo joined Encore's visual effects team in late 2010 as Senior Inferno Artist. He has spent over 15 years in visual effects, previously serving as Creative Director, North America at Prime Focus' Post Logic facility, where he applied his VFX talents to such projects as Sucker Punch and to the CSI and Law & Order franchises.
Prior to Prime Focus, Intravartolo worked for Modern Video Film and The Post Group on series such as the popular Desperate Housewives and the highly-acclaimed HBO miniseries, John Adams.
He also possesses a high level of technical knowledge of stereoscopic 3D post, having contributed in that capacity to a number of 3D features, including Avatar.
Intravartolo has been nominated for multiple Emmy, Monitor, MTV and British Design & Art Direction Awards and won an Emmy for his work on the HBO biopic The Life and Death of Peter Sellers.
