Michael De Lorenzo joined Encore in 2010 where he has contributed to VFX sequences for a number of shows, including House, MD, NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Castle, Big Love, Weeds and Locke & Key.
De Lorenzo decided to try his hand at visual effects after studying photography and working as a photojournalist and still photographer. His strong photographic skills gave him a knowledge of real-world optics and traditional composition, which has served him well over the years in his role as a VFX artist.
