A highly versatile 3D artist with a comprehensive understanding of many aspects of visual effects creation, Dan Lopez has been with Encore since 2001. Lopez has worked on a variety of different music videos, commercials, episodics, and features, and has also served as an on-set visual effects supervisor for numerous major TV series, including Monk, Big Love, and Castle.
Lopez started his career when his abiding love for both special effects and computers led him to an internship at Dreamscape Imagery. From there, he worked at a number of other facilities before joining Encore, including Hollywood Digital West, Digital Dimension and Digital Muse.
